Małachowski ahead of the World Champion

Two Polish stars of Enea Cup 2010 Tomasz Majewski (shot put) and Piotr Ma³achowski (discus throw) came victorious at a meeting held in Taipei

A week before the X European Athletics Festival and the first time this season the Olympics Vice-champion and the World Champion Piotr Ma³achowski (WKS ¦l±sk Wroc³aw) beat the German Champion Robert Harting. Ma³achowski, coached by Witold Suski, achieved the spectacular result of 67,81m, while the World Champion from Berlin only 65,78m. We hope that Bydgoszcz will also prove lucky and we will witness another magnificent victory. So this Sunday let's keep our fingers crossed for both the thrower and the putter as well as all "The-white-and-red" sportsmen.

The Olympic Games Champion, currently the representative of AZS AWF Warsaw stood on the highest place on the podium first time this season. The victorious put was 20,45m long.

Another world championships medalist – Tomasz Bednarek (bronze) had a good beginning of the season too. Currently, the representative of RKS £ód¼ came first twice: in the Diamond League in Shanghai reaching high – 2,24, and even higher during the meeting in Taipei – 2,26. Congratulations to all!
